Unlike the DERSCHUTZ Premium Line, it can be produced in roll units, allowing for custom manufacturing for wide windows without seams.
Additionally, it is more cost-effective compared to the DERSCHUTZ Premium line.

Applied Technology of DERSCHUTZ

The surface of DERSCHUTZ is embossed with a honeycomb pattern through the Thermal Flat process.
As a result, it reflects not only infrared and ultraviolet rays but also visible light, blocking 93-99% while eliminating glare from light reflection on the outside.

It creates a comfortable diffused light indoors, improving the uniformity of lighting distribution, and enhancing a pleasant lighting environment.
It creates a glare-free media environment, improving the illumination to make indoor objects more distinct.

It offers the advantage of being resistant to physical impacts like scratches due to its 5-layered polyester system and thick 3-layered film.
It guarantees durability for over 20 years.
The metal layer reflects solar energy outside, improving cooling efficiency by up to 85% (efficiency increases with brightness outside).
The external surface is coated with a special metal coating, including silver nano, ensuring privacy during the daytime.
It has minimal surface discoloration, is anti-static, making it easy to maintain and resistant to dust.

Differentiation from other Shading Systems

To identify the main differentiators of the DERSCHUTZ blind system compared to other shading systems, it is necessary to compare the energy inflow characteristics of each system.

Double-pane glass typically has the characteristic of allowing a substantial amount of visible light and some infrared and ultraviolet light to enter.
The incoming light of different wavelengths is converted into heat inside, increasing the total energy within the indoor space.
Therefore, to reduce indoor glare and maintain a suitable temperature, it is essential to block both light and heat simultaneously.

When installing tinted film on conventional double-pane glass (indoor side) for light blocking, the actual reduction in cooling load is low.
Tinted film absorbs some visible light, infrared, and ultraviolet light to block them.
Therefore, it acts as a heat trap, increasing the temperature of the glass and ultimately raising the total energy within the indoor space.

Regular blinds also function in a similar way, but they primarily have a significant effect on blocking light when solar energy enters.
This is because they raise the temperature of the air layer between the glass and the blinds, increasing the overall indoor energy.

In contrast, DERSCHUTZ acts as a reflector, reflecting sunlight in its original form, blocking 93-98% of it.
As a result, the solar energy that would otherwise be converted into heat is reduced, leading to a reduction of over 85% in the overall indoor energy.
Using summer as a reference, it can cool indoor temperatures by up to 6 degrees.
Additionally, it provides external visibility with just 2-7% of visible light transmission.
